RESIDENCY

The department started as a section of the Department of Surgery.  It has grown to a fully accredited training program of the Philippine Board of Orthopedics.  The faculty is comprised of Board certified orthopedists, majority of whom have fellowship from abroad.  As a team, we aim to provide our patients the best possible orthopedic care.  We feel honored to assume the role as educators of both our local and foreign residents. 

The residency program is geared towards good patient service, training and research.  Since its inception, the department has produced full-fledged orthopedic surgeons who have become significant providers of quality health care in their respective communities.

The legacy of the pioneering consultants paved the way for birth of the Orthopedics Department, and the continued support and contribution of both our local consultants and foreign friends we will continue to strive   for excellence both in the academic and clinical side of training.
